MarriageTeam Expands

TURNER – Vancouver, Wash-based MarriageTeam recently completed a 24-hour training program for marriage coaches in response to a collaborative community initiative with couples from nine Salem Churches.  Church on the Hill in Turner was the host facility.

Couples learned how to strengthen and save marriages through the process of building relationship skills and helping couples clarify issues, identify options, and move to action.  The training included how to use the internationally acclaimed PREPARE and ENRICH marriage inventories that facilitate the coaching process.

Salem now has 18 marriage coach couples who are available to coach pre-marital and married couples who want to improve their marriage.  Pastors Tim Davis from Church on the Hill and Kevin Truett from Life Connection Church both participated in the training.
