“Luncheon Looks at Ways to Help Couples Avoid Divorce”

VANCOUVER, Wash.

Ever stood by and watched helplessly as a family or friend went through a divorce?

Ever wished something could have be done to help them find a solution before it was too late?
The sponsors of a special event Tuesday, April 19 at Vancouver’s Heathman Lodge, 7801 N.E. Greenwood Drive, say that it is possible to make such a difference.

Bruce Sussman, KOIN-TV 6 chief meteorologist and Dave Arthur, afternoon host on KFIS 104.1 “The Fish” will be featured at the News You Can Use Luncheon, sponsored by Vancouver-based MarriageTeam. Admission and lunch is free.

A freewill offering will be asked to support the work of MarriageTeam in Oregon and southwest Washington.
MarriageTeam is a Christian based non-profit that trains volunteer Christian couples to be marriage coaches and places distressed couples with those coaches.

With hundreds of coach couples in more than 66 communities and 35 different denominations in Oregon, Washington, and Nebraska, MarriageTeam is on the front lines of the divorce epidemic crippling the church and families across America.
MarriageTeam’s vision is to provide free coach training to any volunteer couple and marriage coaching services to anyone struggling to find answers to their marital problems or who believe divorce is their only option.
