Reflecting on MarriageTeam’s Journey and Looking Ahead
As I reflect on the journey of MarriageTeam, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for how God has guided and blessed this ministry. When Autumn and I founded MarriageTeam in 2006, we had a vision to strengthen and save marriages through Christ-centered coaching. Over the years, we have seen God work in powerful ways—raising up incredible volunteer coaches and donors, providing a dedicated staff and board, and transforming countless marriages and families.
It has been an honor and blessing that the Lord chose us to start this ministry and to witness His provision at every step. None of this would have been possible without the faithful couples who have answered God’s call to serve. Their commitment to serve and help other marriages thrive has been absolutely essential to the success of MarriageTeam, and we are forever grateful.
Now, as I step away from my role as Executive Director, I do so with great confidence in the future. Matthew Zoller, who has served as our Deputy Director for the past 21 months, is well-prepared to lead MarriageTeam forward. His heart for ministry, wisdom, and dedication to this mission make him the ideal person to lead MarriageTeam into the future.
