  • Figure out together how you want to handle anger in your relationship.
  • Learn to recognize bitterness and its negative impact on your relationship.
  • Understand and apply the power of forgiveness.

  • Appreciate and work with your personality differences.
  • Develop a more intimate relationship.
  • Create plans for future growth.

Our coaches had great insight and patience. They listened, they heard us and they guided us. It was a very good experience. Our communication skills were very poor. We are now taking time to truly listen to one another. We are having fun with dates, making special times together. This along with praying together is making a tremendous difference. It is an excellent program that has been very beneficial for our marriage.

What this coaching experience did for us is highlight issues that we had unresolved that we assumed we had moved past, but really hadn't. I thought that if we were going to do marriage counseling it would include a lot of confrontation and blame, moving through issues with that approach. This coaching process was so much more dignifying. Our relationship seemed fine on the surface, but after going through the entire program, I can see how little we truly knew about communication, empathy, caring, and creating a marriage that fosters moving through failure and mistakes without holding bitterness. We were very stressed out in our life. We now realize how important it is to slow down, address things using the skills we have learned, and work through them immediately, rather than having to spend additional time working through more frustration and built up resentment later. We also have a specific framework we can work through, so we don't waste time trying to figure out how to speak to each other. Coaching gave us the safe space to be able to really voice our needs, and allowed the time for us to slow down and have empathy for the other person's needs. In terms of our children, their behavior has improved immensely as our communication has improved.

Our coaching experience was unique. We made more progress in 3 months of marriage coaching than 15 months of marriage counseling. We have developed skills to effectively listen and work towards resolution of persistent issues that were tripping points in the past. We are now confident of improvement. Issues are out in the open where we can deal with them as a couple in a positive way.

Our coaching experience was positive, tumultuous, stretching and helped us to improve the relationship instead of experiencing it disintegrate. We were hoping for something different than counseling that would give us skills to move forward. The communication tools were most immediately helpful. The coaches modeling the skills helped us understand what to do. Before coaching, we didn’t have the skills or know how to express our thoughts and feelings and be ourselves. This may have been a last hope for finding help. We are a lot happier now. We are able to talk about deep and emotional issues in our lives. After 30 years of poor interpersonal relationship, things are changing.
